Less than three days for the regional elections, the Government announced that it take action against the so-called 'dirty war' between political campaigns in order to prevent such incidents recorded and affect the electoral process.
The Conservative Party filed a formal complaint to the government for what he considers a series of leaflets are being circulated in the department of Meta, where, according to the community, directly attacking its candidate for mayor of Villavicencio, Victor DelioSanchez, and the applicant for signatures to the governor, Alan Jara.
The Minister's statement came after the head of the Conservative Party in the Meta, Jaime Caballero, to submit to what he categorized as "leaflets" in which they would be issuing information from Sanchez and Jara.
"We are tired of the persecution that has been done to our candidate, Víctor Sánchez Delio because these leaflets are being delivered in the center of Villavicencio without any control," said Caballero.
To this is added a record four years ago became known this week that allegedly heard the candidate for mayor of Villavicencio by 'U', Juan Guillermo Zuluaga, offering gifts to lean to a candidate for governor Goal of whom worked at the time.
On these facts, the Government stated that citizens need to present their complaints to the authorities, so that next Sunday's elections are not tainted by illegal acts.
