Videos posted by local newspaper warning about the tactics used by military personneltraining summer camps for children and teens, called "boot camps".

The recordings were apparently made two years ago in training camp and Camp Family First Growth Sarge's Community Base Inc., both in Pasadena Star News, which operateKelvin "Sergeant Mac" McFarland and Keith "Sarge" Gibbs, respectively.

In one of the videos shows that instructors require children to choke on water, causingseveral of them vomit.

In the other recording a crying child loads a tire while four instructors yell at forcing ears fall to the ground and at one point seems to throw up.
The conduct of the instructors has been considered child abuse.

McFarland and Gibbs were in the armed forces and often worked together in training camps for children and adolescents, reported the Pasadena Star News.

In both videos are watched children who wear shirts with the legend: Commit II Achieve, which is the camp that operates Keith "Sarge" Gibbs, who last June 18 was recognized as "Father of the Community" for being a role model youth, at an event in which he was the keynote speaker councilman Bernard Parks.
For its part, the digital newspaper Altadena Patch released in early June that McFarland, a resident of Monrovia, was arrested for extortion and child abuse to handcuff a 14 year oldthat had been painted and which allegedly asked for money to the parents.
